How often does it happen that your best friend, your partner in crime, your lifelong buddy lives just 30 feet away from your house? Seldom, right!? Yeah well I'm super lucky that mine does!!
We are probably the most notorious and infamous duo of our colony. We are weird and act all stupid around each other. Well isn't that what best friends are for; so u you can be stupid around them and not care, because you know that you won't be judged! Anyway, the two of us have had innumerable incidents, we have seen strange things, met strange people. Basically we have done a lot of fun stuff and we generally spend a lot of time together.
One of our favorite things to do together is to roam around in the streets... Talking, making fun of random things, making fun of random people, laughing like mad men, and a lot of other fun stuff. We often walk around in the locality and do all that. We have been friends since both of us were 3 so we know each other extremely well! He is the one person who knows everything about me. And vice versa.
Okay, so once we were on our routine leisure stroll. It was late evening; we were returning from some street food corner (I guess) and it was beginning to get dark... Dark enough for cars to turn the lights on. So we decided to wave at random cars just for fun, to see their reactions.
We couldn't see the people inside cars due to the glazing headlights. So we waited for the first car to come...and there it came. It was slow. So we started waving 👋, and guess what! The car pulled over.. And it is one of the many people who we think are fools. You know there are certain people... Who if u run into, stick around and talk... And keep talking and go on and on and keep rambling and end up irritating you to the core. He is one of them!
Think about it. What are the odds of such a thing xD
I don't know if it's an incident funny enough for everyone but we chortled for quite a while over it xD
Anyway there was this one time we were walking along this thing (which is supposed to be a lake).. It was being dug for some construction work. The lake is a few feet below the ground level...and there's a sidewalk around it. We were tootling along the sidewalk when a strange sight grabs our attention... We notice a few people had climbed down to the lake (it was all sand and filth). This was normal-ish. However, then we noticed they started clicking selfies, with the dirty Lake as the background! Even this was at least believable, but what we saw next made one thing very clear, people are STUPID! What we had thought to be a smartphone (using which they were clicking those "selfies") was actually a Nokia 1100 (the the small yellow coloured screen phone, which doesn't even have a camera)! What they were doing was, pretending to click pictures... God knows why 😂😂 xD.
Faith in humanity: lost! *facepalm*
There have been a million such weird sights that the two of us have witnessed!
So basically the bottom line is that we are brothers more than we are best friends. We have similar tastes in everything! We have similar habits!
We have a thousand stories worth telling and I want to create a million more :3
Now all the people who don't have their best friend living this across the street (or those who don't have a bestie altogether)... Envy us x3
